Sorry i havent blogged in awhile i have been busy and have not had good enough internet.

Okay so about 2ish weeks ago me and my team left Nicaragua we flew to Atlanta then from there we flew to LA. From there we flew to Hong Kong, and finally from Hong Kong we flew to Manila. So after about 24 hours of just flying we made here safe. It was a crazy couple days of traveling but everything was good! we made it here without any problems.

Looking back on my time in Nicaragua the one big thing that sticks out to me is this. God showed me what it truely is to trust him. I had nothing, i missed alot of things at home, i was broken things were very very hard and i had to trust God to get through. I know what it means to truly trust god. That being said this doesnt mean that next time i face hard times it will be easy, it only means i know how to trust him and know that he will bring me through it and i can just give everything to him. Was Nicaragua a hard couple months to go through? yes very much so, but i am so glad that God made me go through that now and i wouldnt change that experience for anything else.

So Asia is awesome! I love it here in the Philippines there is so much to do. When we have off days we go to the malls and just hang out. I could deffinatly come back here!

So my minstry is call Journey For Hope. There is a girl named Emily she is a travel agent, single parent has 2 kids. PLus she runs this organization. Its for kids from this community who have nothing. She feeds them makes sure they have enough money to go school because most of the time they dont. She does so much and never has anytime for herself. So what we do is hang with the kids make sure they go to school, we help with there homework. We do devotions everynight for the kids. There is about 10-15 regular kids that come here. Sometimes it is hard because they are always here and we never have like some down time.

We sleep on a roof top there is 7 of us 2 guys and 5 girls and only one bathroom so things get alittle crazy alot of times. In January the 5 guys we fly down to another island for manistry month which is going to be so fun. Just the guys hanging out doing ministry together its going to be fun and im looking forward to it.

I hope in a week or so i can blog again and give you guys some more detail of whats going on here. I Just wanted to let you guys know im still alive aha and alittle bit of information about here.

Thanks again for reading my blogs it means alot to know i have a great support system at home. Thanks for all the prayers they truly do help!

Miss you guys hope things are going good at home as you prepare for Christmas!

  3. Ministry can be tough and it can also give you a sense that because you are doing things for God, you are close to God. Makes sure in amongst all the times of serving Him and others, you also take time to be in Him. The doing comes out of the being. Praying for you! And it’s great to hear how God is speaking to you.

  4. Good to hear how much you learned in Nicaragua and how much He is using you now in the Philippines! Praying for the rest of your time to be sweet and full of love bro!
